Anyone who has done article marketing or Bum Marketing as it's more commonly known as now, will know that the resultsone person gets are very different to what someone else will get. There doesn't seem to be any set rules on how toget the best results. Or is there?
From personal experience, I can tell you that if you understand exactly who you want your article to reach from the beginning, you have a much better understanding of WHY they would be looking for your information. Once you havethis planned out in your mind, you will find the whole process much easier.
Knowing who you are marketing to is important, but knowing the benefits of the product you are promoting will put youin a much more powerful place. Ensure that your article is not a sales page, make it easy to read and make sure thatyou give the reader exactly what you told them you would give. The title is the thing that makes them read, it grabs their attention and draws them in. If your title reads "Ten Top Tips" make sure you give them ten top tips.
Track your clickthrough rate and reader statistics. If you find that you have a good number of readers but not a good clickthrough rate, consider changing your author bio. This needs to be compelling and give the reader a good reasonto clickthrough and read more. Asking them to visit your site without giving them a reason to do so is losing youreaders.
